Terms of Service — India

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Dosha Nivaran App and all related services provided by Aja AstroTech Private Limited in India.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Dosha Nivaran App ('App'), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ('Terms'). If you do not agree, do not use the App. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Aja AstroTech Private Limited ('Company', 'we', 'our', or 'us').

2. About the Service

The Dosha Nivaran App is a Vedic astrology platform that provides:

Astrological Reports — personalised Vedic analyses based on your birth chart

Muhurtha Services — auspicious timing recommendations for life events

Daily, Monthly, and Annual Forecasts — based on classical Parasara Jyotisha

Astro-Consulting — sessions with licensed Vedic practitioners

Remedy Marketplace — Japa, Puja, and Homam services performed by empanelled purohits

DNA Annual Subscription — ongoing companion features including Daily Pulse and webinars

IMPORTANT: All astrological content on this App is provided as Vedic cultural and spiritual guidance only. Nothing on this App constitutes medical, legal, financial, psychological, or therapeutic advice. All analyses describe classical Vedic astrological tendencies, influences, and classical interpretations — not predictions, guarantees, or certainties about future events.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and purchase services. Parents and guardians may use the App to generate charts for minor children. By using the App, you represent that you are 18 or older.

4. Account Registration

You must provide accurate name, mobile number, and email address at registration.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

You must notify us immediately at support@doshanivaran.in of any unauthorised use of your account.

You may not transfer your account to another person.

5. Payments and Refunds

5.1 Pricing

All prices are displayed inclusive of applicable GST. Prices are in Indian Rupees (₹). Payment is processed through Razorpay. We accept UPI, credit/debit cards, and net banking.

5.2 Subscription

The DNA Annual Subscription (₹199/year at v1.0) is billed annually. Auto-renewal is ON by default; you may disable it in App Settings. Founder Member price-lock applies to subscribers who join during the Founder Window (until 31 July 2026 or 5,000 subscribers, whichever first).

5.3 Refund Policy

Reports and Muhurthas: Once a report is generated or a muhurtha timing is delivered, it is non-refundable as the service has been fully rendered.

Subscriptions: Pro-rata refund within 7 days of the subscription start date, upon written request to support@doshanivaran.in No refund after 7 days except where mandated by law.

Consulting Sessions: If a session is cancelled by the practitioner, a full refund is issued. No refund for no-shows or user cancellations with less than 2 hours' notice.

Remedy Marketplace (Japa/Puja/Homam): Refund available only if service has not yet been performed. Once the purohit has commenced the ritual, no refund is available.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the App, including Vedic analyses, Dosha and Yoga interpretations, report templates, brand elements, and technology, is owned by Aja AstroTech Pvt Ltd or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

7. User Obligations

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose

Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App

Misrepresent birth details or provide false information

Resell or commercially exploit any report or muhurtha output without written consent

Use the App to harass, defame, or harm any other person

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the App. The Company's total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the preceding 12 months.

The App provides Vedic astrological guidance for informational and cultural purposes. You assume full responsibility for any decisions made based on content provided through the App. The Company is not liable for any actions taken or not taken in reliance on astrological guidance.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with a sole arbitrator, seat at Hyderabad, and proceedings in English.

10. Amendments

We may amend these Terms from time to time with 30 days' notice via in-app notification and email. Continued use of the App after the effective date of amended Terms constitutes acceptance.

International Terms of Service Addendum

This Addendum supplements the DNA-TOS-001 India Terms of Service for users outside India. In case of conflict, this Addendum prevails for international users.

1. Scope

This Addendum applies to all users accessing the Dosha Nivaran App from outside India, including users in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Singapore, United Arab Emirates, and all Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states.

2. Nature of Service — International Clarification

The Dosha Nivaran App provides Vedic astrology as a cultural, spiritual, and heritage service rooted in classical Indian Jyotisha tradition. All content is framed as astrological analysis of planetary tendencies — not as predictions, fortune-telling, psychological counselling, medical advice, or financial guidance. This framing is consistent with applicable consumer protection laws in all jurisdictions.

3. Consumer Rights — United Kingdom

UK users have the following statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013:

Right to cancel: You have 14 days from the date of purchase to cancel a digital service without giving a reason ('cooling-off period'), provided the service has not been fully performed.

EXCEPTION: By requesting immediate delivery of a Report or Muhurtha output, you acknowledge that the service will be fully performed immediately and waive your 14-day cancellation right in respect of that specific purchase. This waiver is presented and confirmed at checkout.

Subscriptions: The 14-day cancellation right applies from the date of subscription purchase. Cancellation requests to support@doshanivaran.in or via in-app settings.

4. Consumer Rights — European Union

EU users (where applicable) have equivalent rights under the EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU. The same 14-day cancellation framework and digital content performance waiver described in Section 3 applies.

5. Consumer Rights — Australia

Australian users are protected by the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Our services come with statutory guarantees that cannot be excluded. If our services fail to meet statutory guarantees, you are entitled to a remedy. We do not exclude any rights you have under the ACL.

6. Consumer Rights — Canada

Canadian users are protected by applicable provincial consumer protection legislation. Subscription auto-renewal is disclosed at signup, with reminder before each renewal. You may cancel at any time via in-app settings or by emailing support@doshanivaran.in

7. Pricing and Currency

All international pricing is displayed in your local currency as determined by your App Store region. Prices include applicable VAT, GST, or sales tax where required by law. The Company is not responsible for exchange rate fluctuations.

8. Payment Processing

International payments are processed by Stripe Inc, a PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant payment processor. We do not store full card details. Stripe's own terms and privacy policy apply to payment processing.

9. Governing Law — International Users

Notwithstanding the India governing law clause in DNA-TOS-001, users in the following jurisdictions may rely on the mandatory consumer protection provisions of their local law, which cannot be excluded by contract:

UK users: UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 and applicable UK law

EU users: Applicable EU member state consumer protection law

Australian users: Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2, Competition and Consumer Act 2010)

Canadian users: Applicable provincial consumer protection legislation
